Processing and Collection of your Data

Public Folders Pro connects directly to your Microsoft Exchange Server or Office 365 tenant. No data is recieved or transferred to us at any time relating to the content of your Public Folders data.

Support Services

If you contact us by any of our support channels we will collect your email address as well as any information you voluntarily provide (such as crash reports, logs or other diagnostic information). This is collected purely to help us resolve your support enquiry. Emails will be retained to give us context from any previous interactions so we can answer any of your furture queries as quickly and efficiently as possible. The may be deleted when it is deemed appropriate by ourself. If you would like any interactions deleted, please let us know by conting us below.

Analytics & Tracking

We make use of Microsoft AppCenter (see below) to track some usage statistics. The data is completely anonymised, and contains no personally identifyable or sensitive information. We cannot identify you or your device. We track things like:

  • Unknown item types If we encounter an item or attachment that cannot be opened by the app, the file extension or MIME type would be sent to help us identify where we can improve the app by adding support for additional file types.

No sensitive information (PII or otherwise) is transferred and the submission of these events can be toggled off at any time from within the Settings menu of the app.

Third Party Services

Here are the details of any third party services that we use, what data they store and for how long we expect them to store this data.

Microsoft AppCenter

Microsoft App Center handles our in-app diagnostics and crash reporting features. You can opt out of sending these at any time from within the Settings menu of the app.
